The New York Institute
The New York Institute of English is a center founded in 2007, which teaches adults, children and compamies in small groups or in private classes.
It's a young school and yet many students value the good quality of their teaching.
Through the help of teachers from NYI, students achieve their goals as far as learning the language in the best and fastest possible way.

Learning English at NYI
Children, teenagers, young, adults, ALL AGES... no matter how old you are, you can learn English.
We teach English from 3 years old to all ages!
We also teach in companies, public schools, hospitals and other institutions, offering educational programs of short and/or long duration.
Classes never have more than 7-8 students at the most, and we use the most updated teaching materials combined with other activities and speaking activities. We believe that is very important to help in improving the speaking of the English language.

NYI Background
It all began with the figure of Elisabet Seuba, founder of the New York Institute after spending 10 years in the United States.
She worked 5 years as a professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) as a teacher as well.
After living an experience like this, she returned to her hometown Igualada, wanting to help people learn English. That's when New York Institute was created.
Other Services
In addition to classes, we offer translation and interpretation services, in business meetings, business people who come to Barcelona and need an interpreter, written translations of all kind of documents, translation of websites, brochures, etc.
